Celebrities, cosplay, comics, crowds, crying, Chris Evans, costly.....Comic Con is here! As some of you may have seen on Facebook, I was at the Salt Lake Comic Con on Thursday. Melissa and I are going to be there all 3 days, and it is a massive event. Thousands upon thousands of people, over-priced food, and tons of geeky stuff to buy and do. Our coordinator Mike and his family are going to be there as well, and we are going to try and help break a world record by dressing up as comic book characters!
The coolest thing for me being there has to be all the cosplay. There is so much of it! I didn't do it my first day, so it was nice to see everyone else who put the time and effort into making these amazing outfits. Don't worry, I'll be donning some outfits myself, including my Tenth Doctor outfit for a photo op with John Barrowman.
With all the exciting stuff I've seen so far, I'm pumped to discover what the rest of the event has in store. Look out on my Facebook as I'll be posting more photos as the weekend progresses!
Now, obviously, this isn't everything that has been happening with my while I've been in SLC, but this has taken up quite a bit of my time recently preparing for it. My newsletter will be going out as soon as I get an updated list on all of my supporters, so stay tuned for that!
